Assignment:
You will write a minimum of 500-word reflection answering the questions below:
1. Coercive Control Analysis
Using the concept of coercive control from both TEDx talks:
○ Develop a hypothetical case scenario (not one discussed in the videos) that illustrates coercive control in a subtle, non-obvious way.
○ Identify specific behaviors that might be overlooked by professionals.
○ Explain how each behavior contributes to a broader pattern of control rather than isolated incidents.
2. Personal Bias & Professional Readiness
○ Identify one assumption or belief you held about domestic/family violence prior to these materials.
○ Explain how the content challenged or complicated that belief.
○ How might this shift influence your future role as a professional when assessing clients or situations?
