Contemporary Art Paper with Research Component (1000 words minimum)

1.     Subject: Overview or specific aspect of a contemporary (living or recently deceased) Visual Artist’s life and/or work

2.     1000 words minimum

3.     3 Citations required (MLA)

This can be any contemporary  VISUAL artist (living during or after 1990), for whom you can cite 3 citations.

Note: You can’t cover a lot in 1000 words.  Choose an event from an artist’s life or the story of one of their works, or other specific events or specific artworks. You can also write about something you like or something you don’t like and discuss the reasons you feel that way. Even though this is a research paper, you are encouraged to state your own personal views and interpretations.
