I need help writing a tribute to dad. He was 98 years old and i wont be able to attend his funeral. But i want my tribute to be read by someone. He was a loving father loved by many. Always funny it was laughter whenever people were around him. People loved him so much. Mom passed away before him. Every so often I would call him and talk but it hurt so much to see him decline to the point where he could not remember my voice and each time i had to remind him who iam and he would say oh ofcourse you are my daughter. But in the last days He could hardly talk but i just talked to him knowing he would hear me. I am not crying because he lived a good life, he ran his race and i knew this time was coming. He called me mom but I am his daughter. They are burying him on Friday in Africa and I am in America i wont make it for his funeral. May his beautiful soul rest in peace. Till we meet again.
