My request
• I am requesting to take NRSG 2210 Influences on Health and Illness along with NRSG 2350 Integrated Pathophysiology and Pharmaceutical Interventions. NRSG 2350 is the class I must retake. I needed a 73(C) to pass the class and my final grade was 72.66 ( C-).
Circumstances
• My grandma who raised me got sick and I had to assist my mother in taking care of her. She’s diabetic with Dementia. I also have a son who is 6 months old and a daughter who is 18 months old. My grandma becoming sick is what caused the academic strain for me. At the beginning of the course, I was adjusting to a new study habit and later in the course, I found the study habit that worked for me. My grandma is expecting to leave the country to be with her sisters who will now assist in her care.
Plan
Write and outline your specific plan to improve your academic deficiency or ensure a successful outcome if you are requesting a waiver of policies due to extenuating circumstances. For example, describe how you will remediate coursework, improve study habits, implement additional support systems, or otherwise manage the implications of a policy and progression standards waiver.
