Rubric for Paper
Each student is to write a 5 page paper on one of the family therapy theories listed
in the syllabus (Contextual, Bowenian, Structural, Strategic, Virginia Satir or Carl
Whitaker, Milan Systemic, or Emotionally Focused Therapy).
Your paper should address the basic tenets of that orientation, chief proponents of
that school of therapy, describe techniques that orientation uses, and provide
ideas/opinions on the strengths and weakness of that therapeutic approach.
The paper is due no later than 4 pm on Saturday, January 27th and should be
family therapy
