Students will present on one of the classical theories of leadership (“Great Man”/Trait, Behavioral Leadership Theory, Contingency, Situational, Participative, Management/Transactional, Relationship/Transformational). The classical Theories I chose is Behavioral Leadership Theory.
The presentation should include a basic understanding of the theory, history of the theory, main proponents of the theory, strengths and weaknesses of the theory in its use in a Social Work setting. This will be presented to the class virtually. This will require a PowerPoint presentation which includes a brief summary of your theory that will be available to the other students in the class.
