Assignment: Self-Care Plan for the Long Haul
Directions
This assignment aims to reflect on your experiences and personality and articulate a plan for self-care.
Questions to Consider:
How will YOU keep from becoming a sad story (they had so much promise…)? The Apostle Paul laid down the standard of what it means to cross the finish line well… “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Tim. 4:7). What does accountability look like for you? Your weekly routine? Boundaries? Your physical, mental, and spiritual health? How will you keep from being an out-of-balance people pleaser? Where in your life, if any, have you experienced shame, and how does it act out in your life today?
Requirements:
Using your findings from the personality test, the Robert Walter book, AND your life experience, research your particular personality profile and write a paper discussing the 3 personality traits that are strengths for ministry and 3 that you need to be aware of that could hold you back or be a problem. Then, reflect on the questions above, giving brief, thoughtful answers.
This paper should be 4-5 pages long and follow the submission standards stated in the syllabus. Submit your paper here and come to the class meeting this week ready to share insights from your reflections and findings.
My findings from the Personality test are ENFJ-A Protagonist.
