As you prepare your paper, be sure to:

  • Briefly reflect on the scenario and explain why a nurse leader must be part of the implementation team.
  • Discuss both benefits and challenges of involving a nurse leader in health information technology implementation.
  • Structure the role description around the SDLC stages, clearly outlining how the nurse leader contributes to and impacts each phase:
    • Planning and requirements definition
    • Analysis
